Israel should not release the bodies of the three Palestinians killed in clashes at Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday, the family of a soldier held as a prisoner of war urged yesterday.
According to the Hebrew Channel 7, the family said the government should take a decisive stand.
Hadar Goldin has been classed as ‘missing’ since he disappeared during Israel’s brutal war on the Gaza Strip in 2014. It is thought that he was captured and is being held by the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades. The group announced for the first time in early April 2016 that it has “four imprisoned Israeli soldiers” in its custody, including Goldin, it did not reveal whether they are alive or dead.
Clashes erupted at Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday leading to the death of three Palestinian from Umm Al-Fahm. The two 19-year-old men and one 29-year-old were cousins who were all named Mohamed Jabarin.
Two soldiers were also killed, while two others were injured. Israeli occupation authorities then closed Al-Aqsa Mosque banning Friday prayer in it for the first time since 1969.
